A group of dance therapist, psychotherapists and other professionals met in Vienna last year with the intension of intensifying professional exchange on Authentic Movement. See the posting in the International Authentic Movement Comnunity Site for more details and the photos to get the atmosphere.

This unpretentious international meeting was a very valuable experience for all of us so that we are organizing a new meeting this year. We first planed to go to Rio de Janeiro but, due to schedule constraints, we will repeat it in Vienna this year and Soraia Jorge and Guto Macedo from Rio will be helping to organize it. We are still planning to go to Moscow and Rio in the next years and are looking forward for more invitations!

The idea is to move together and share personal and professional experience in the summer in a pleasant place.

WHEN: July 23th - 28th, 2009. Arriving on Thursday, we will move on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Departure on Tuesday. |

WHERE: Therapiezentrum Gersthof, Gentzgasse 137/3, 1180 Vienna, Austria |

LODGING: we invite the participants to stay at our Therapy Centre for free. Depending on how many people are coming, we could also try to organize lodging at other colleagues' places. And if you prefer to stay in a hotel, we could also help in finding a neat place close to the studio. |

|
FEES: $0,00. As for eating we will hire a colleague/friend to cook for us every day and to have lunch at the premises. We will share these costs (about 10€/person/day). |

This meeting is intended to be at peer level, this meaning that we have no leadership. All persorns attending are expected to have large experience in moving and training AM in order to be responsible for their own personal process. Attention: We are already as many people as we can host!
If you nevertheless wish to put your name in a waiting list for the case someone drops off, please send us an application with information about yourself, like:
1) How did you hear fom our gathering? What are your connections to the AM-community?
2) What kind of training in Authentic Movement did you have (teachers and form)?
3) Describe how are you using AM in your work.
4) Please describe also your practice as a therapist.
5) What kind of work on yourself have you gone through (own analysis).
Please feel free to tell us other things, you think are relevant, and to leave those out, that may not be important for you.
Participation is by invitation only.
We will answer your application as soon as possible and inform you upon registration and of your position in the waiting list.
