These international meetings have been a very valuable experience for all of us so that we are organizing a third event this summer. This time the group size will be limited and the meeting will be designed mainly for people who are interested and involved in and committed to the practical and theoretical aspects of the Authentic Movement as outlined below:
1) to deepen understanding of Authentic Movement through engagement in the practice as both mover and witness; 2) to research further possibilities in Authentic Movement; 3) to exchange our professional experiences of Authentic Movement (eg. teaching or leading Authentic Movement as a distinct form or in related contexts); 4) to network with other professionals in Authentic Movement, body psychotherapy and somatic practices.
In order to achieve this we expect that participants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Authentic Movement practitioner and, in most cases, as a therapist or somatic practitioner.

WHEN: July 28th – August 2nd, 2010. Starting on Wednesday with dinner, we will move on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Departure on Monday after Breakfast. |
WHERE: Therapiezentrum Gersthof, Gentzgasse 137/3, 1180 Vienna, Austria |
LODGING: we invite the participants to stay at our Therapy Centre for free. Depending on how many people are coming, we could also try to organize lodging at other colleagues' places. And if you prefer to stay in a hotel, we could also help in finding a neat place close to the studio. |
FEES: €50,00 for organization and studios. As for eating we will hire a colleague/friend to cook for us every day and to have lunch at the premises. This will cost another €50,00. |
Solidarity Funding: The financial situation of our colleagues all over the world and the travel expenses are very unequal. If you feel you want to donate a contribution (think about the usual costs of a professional congress) or to make use of this funding, please make contact to Em Edmonsen (knockboha@googlemail.com), who will treat your issue confidentially. |
